How does it work when I visit the location?

It’s simple: open the app and you’ll quickly see what’s going on around you. meetin.bar uses your location and only lets you in where you actually are. You’ll then see people who are in the same place at the same time as you, and you can get in touch.

Do I really have to be there?

Yes — that’s exactly what makes meetin.bar so special! You connect to a venue based on your current location, not by manually switching locations from anywhere. You can browse other venues, but connecting with people only works once you’re actually there.

How can I invite someone for a drink?

Simply click on the wine glass icon in the chat and choose from the venue’s menu.

Why does my chat disappear after the evening?

Because meetin.bar is all about spending the evening in the real world, not in an endless thread of messages. Come along tomorrow and meet someone new!

What if someone behaves inappropriately?

A safe evening is always our priority. You can report any inappropriate behaviour to the staff directly via the app, and they will discreetly resolve the situation.

Why is a photo required in the profile?

A photo helps make the introduction feel more natural and confident. When ordering at the bar, the staff then know who to serve straight away.
